Afternoon snack today is a smoothie made with broccoli, avocado, cilantro, green onion, lime juice, and water. When my mom moved into long-term care last spring, I inherited her blender that came with a smoothie attachment. It was never used and when I took it out of it's box, I realized why. It took me a bit of time to figure out how the attachments all fit together! This being the first official day of the Feb Cleanse, I got inspired and threw in all the green things in my fridge. Tastes kind of like liquid guacamole. I'm calling it the Guac-Brocc Smoothie. (Will not put so much green onion in next time...)
